After earning her bachelor's degree in Buddhist Studies from Naropa University in 1998, she completed a four year master's degree program in Chinese Medicine at Southwest Acupuncture College. This enhanced Rebecca's knowledge of the body and trained her in alternative health solutions.

Rebecca's areas of expertise (Meditation, Chinese Medicine and Hakomi) see the body and mind as inseparable. From these resources, clients can find physical relief from conditions like allergies, physical pain, addiction withdrawal and hormonal imbalances as well as finding improvements from mental and emotional conditions like stress, anxiety and depression. From her own experiences and by witnessing other's transformations, she is confident that a holistic approach enables people to return to a state of physical, mental and emotional wellness.

About Rachelle DeMichele L.Ac (visiting acupuncturist)

Rachelle is a dedicated and passionate practitioner of acupuncture and herbal medicine. She has astrong belief n the inherent wisdom of the body; trusting its ability to heal once gently brought back into balance.  Her past experience as a classical singer along with studies in comparative religion and mindful meditation all connected her with something greater.  This connection, combined with her own personal and family health concerns, led her to Oriental Medicine.  Here she found a healing modality that was not only incredibly effective, but also embodied something greater: the greater wisdom of nature.

Earning her Masters from AOMA Graduate School of Integrative medicine gave her a well rounded knowledge of both Western and Eastern healing modalities. This gives her the capacity to offer patients truly comprehensive treatment strategies.  Her internships and
clinical work have led her to a particular focus on reproductive acupuncture and Integrative mental health.  This includes menstrual irregularities, menopause, infertility, pregnancy and postpartum care, anxiety, depression, bi-polar disorder, eating disorders, and addiction.

Along with her dedication to continual advancement and professionalism, her style of practice embodies a respect and reverence for the body, mind and spirit of every person she treats.  She is looking forward to continuing the healing path for Rebecca’s patients while she is away on maternity.
